Since 2001, Julianna Carter has been an abstract impressionist. She believes that if you want to see into someone’s soul then give them a paint brush and a palate of colors. Give them a book full of blank pages and a tin full of pencils. Give them permission to move the brush how it demands. Allow them to create the figures their mind creates. Art is a feeding organism. It fills us up. It helps us think. It makes us better. Art is critical because it is a true expression of vulnerability.
