At Candlelight we believe in a practical and philosophical education

Creativity is a process that emanates from within and must flow out.

In our classes students begin their creative process by making their own still life models in clay. 

This gives the student an understanding of the object from scratch. 

Then they go onto drawing it and studying it. 

The last step is a full size painting of the object studied

It is not a one day process. It takes time. The artist grows and matures with knowledge, practice, and time.
